We have released a limited edition of Nychair X, which combines oil-finished armrests with seats in the most popular colors.

The oil finish is made by rubbing a plant-derived oil on the wood. You can enjoy the expression of the natural wood, including the different grain patterns and knots and the soft-to-touch surface.

Additionally, the more you use the chair, the more personality will appear on the wood surface, making it a piece unique to you. As with each Nychair X product, each piece is carefully made by skilled craftsmen to ensure that you can enjoy your chair for a long time.

Nychair X Oil Finish series includes three types of models: X, Rocking and Ottoman. Nychair X gives a sense of stability; Nychair X Rocking gently sways the user's body; and Nychair X Ottoman, which serves not only as additional support during relaxing, but also can be used as a stool, or in many different ways.

The first model in Nychair X series. The seat height is the lowest in this model, and it gives the greatest sense of grounding. Thanks to a generous seat depth, the chair allows the whole body to lay back and rest. When paired with Ottoman, it can provide even more relaxing experience.

A gentle movement that embraces the body

Nychair X Rocking Oil Finish

The smooth and gentle motion was possible to achieve thanks to the advanced bending technology. Because the chair moves together with the body, and it is possible to stop at any desired angle, it can be used in a variety of situations: leaning forward for work, leaning backward to peacefully listen to music, in a neutral position to watch movies. It is easier to get up due to the higher seating position and the rocking movement.

From a partner in resting to a versatile tool

Nychair X Ottoman Oil Finish

When Ottoman is used together with Nychair X or Nychair X Rocking as a set, it allows you to entrust your whole body in its soft embrace, from head to toe, and enjoy even deeper stages of relaxation.

Many ottomans have a slanted seat to accommodate the shape of the legs and feet better, but Nychair X Ottoman has a flat horizontal seat to serve other purposes as well. With a load capacity of 95 kg, it can of course be used as a stool, but it can also play a variety of flexible roles: with a tray on top, it can be used as a side table; it can be placed at the entrance as a support tool for taking shoes off; it can turn into a temporary storage rack, and so on.

Oil Finish (beech wood)

In standard Nychair X Natural and Dark Brown finishes, Natural finish uses more uniform beech wood without knots that are inspected in person to check if the color of both armrests is matching. To minimize wood waste, less uniform wood pieces are coated with dark brown urethane resin.

In the new Oil Finish model, while the armrests are coordinated, they proudly show their grain patterns and knots as proof of their natural origin and uniqueness without preselection. This allows us to make full use of the limited resources. We are using wood from sustainably managed forests.
